Misuse of patriot documents & ancestry research
Public Statement:
Integrity of Korean Patriot Lineage
To the Korean descendant community in Mexico:
It is a sacred honor and responsibility to protect the integrity of our family history and the legacy of our ancestors.
We have detected recent attempts by individuals (including Diann M Rowland on platforms like Ancestry.com) to fraudulently claim lineage to Korean Independence Patriots, specifically by unauthorized copying of data from our documented family tree.
We must be clear and emphatic:
Official Verification
Our lineage to the Independence Patriots
Antonio 이응상 Lee and
José María Hahn (born 한치혁) 한종원 has been officially verified, accepted, and registered by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea (MPVA).
Irrefutable Evidence: We possess all the court-certified legal documentation (birth, marriage, and death certificates) accepted by the Ministry.
Formal Warning: Any attempt at fraud, falsification, or misuse of our documented history for personal gain, including obtaining government-funded benefits, honors, or travel, will be immediately documented and reported to the MPVA and relevant authorities for formal investigation.
The honor of our Patriots is not for sale. Respect our history.

The Hahn and Lee Families do not know Eleanor Kikuchi and cannot understand why she has taken my personal family photos and added members of my family to Mrs. Rowland's family, or what either of them gain from doing so. However, it is clear fraud.
In Korea, an especially in connection to Patriots of the Nation, privacy laws are sacrosanct and are applied very strictly.
